Hi, my name is Katie Hu. I have been in gymnastics pretty much my entire life. Ever since I was little I really enjoyed flipping and swinging on the bars. At times, gymnastics can be very difficult, especially during injuries, but it also teaches many valuable lessons that I will carry with me forever. Gymnastics teaches responsibility, teamwork, and organization. It also has taught me to create goals and achieve them through learning new skills.
I would love to compete on a collegiate team after high school. Being able to continue gymnastics and be in a supportive team atmosphere sounds really exciting! Currently, I volunteer at my church and take many challenging courses in school. In the future, I want to go to medical school and become a doctor.
